Seth MacFarlane’s TED went on to gross over $500 million worldwide, becoming one of the most successful R-rated comedies of all-time. A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST had a similar budget of $40-$50 million and didn't make more than $90 million when all was said and done.
