Diablo Cody To Re-Write "Barbie" Film

"Juno" and "Young Adult" scribe Diablo Cody has been hired to pen the next draft of the script of the live-action "Barbie" feature in development at Sony Pictures. Jenny Bicks penned the first draft of the comedy which will follow Barbie in a contemporary setting. Details of the plot remain undisclosed. Walter Parkes, Laurie MacDonald and Amy Pascal are producing.
