Johnson Controls sells property management business for $1.5 billion

Johnson Controls Inc. sealed the deal with CBRE Group Inc. to sell its Global WorkPlace Solutionn business for $1.5 billion, the Glendale-based company said Tuesday. The Global Workplace Solutions division of Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) manages 1.8 billion square feet of corporate retail space.
