It's official, Lionsgate has confirmed plans for a sequel to last year's well-regarded revenge thriller "John Wick". Keanu Reeves is locked to return as the titular hitman in the film which will again be directed by David Leitch and Chad Stahelski and written by Derek Kolstad. In a statement, Lionsgate's President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions Jason Constantine says: "With such tremendous fan and critical support for ‘John Wick,’ we knew that there was still so much more of this story to tell.
