With everything that is surrounding Sony and Marvel’s co-venture into a Spider-Man collaborated film project, it seems a new contender has entered the ring for a chance at directing the web-slinger’s solo outing.That contender comes in the form of Jon Watts (‘Cop Car’). Watts doesn’t have that impressive of a track record when it comes to handling feature-length movies.
