BEIJING (AP) — The British Embassy in Beijing has restricted a visa for dissident artist Ai Weiwei, alleging he failed to declare that he had a criminal conviction, a claim that his lawyer disputed on Thursday. Wednesday's letter from the embassy to the artist said he had applied for a six-month business visit visa, but that his visa had been restricted to the requested dates of travel on his application form because he had made false representations.
