From Staff ReportsEDMOND — At the peak of the weekend storm, more than 7,000 Edmond Electric customers were without electricity after freezing rain covered the city. Most of the customers still without power Monday morning were in older neighborhoods between Kelly Avenue and Bryant Avenue and Danforth Road to 33rd Street. Many electric easements in that area are at the back of the property and often more difficult to access. Fallen tree limbs have made restoring power more dangerous and time-consuming than with a typical power outage, Edmond Electric officials said. Read more on NewsOK.com
