At press time, Bernie Sanders led the Democrats and Ohio Gov. John Kasich led the GOP field, according to New Hampshire search data. On the day of the primary, Kasich saw a surge in online interest from users living in New Hampshire, eventually putting him ahead of Donald Trump for the day’s search traffic.
