Yesterday, we reported that several studios, including Legendary, Universal, Sony, and Paramount, were in the middle of a bidding war for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's latest project with director Rawson Marshall Thurber. The project was described as a DIE HARD in China, and was reportedly getting several seven-figure offers.According to THR, Legendary has won that bidding war, paying "at least $3 million for the script alone." The film is entitled SKYSCRAPER, and in addition to DIE HARD, the project has also been compared to 1974's THE TOWERING INFERNO.
