LIVE UPDATES: Demonstrations begin in Tupelo

Video from the Our Lives Matter 2 march through Tupelo: UPDATE 11:24 a.m. • The majority of downtown streets have been reopened, although some will remain closed until official end of march at 12:30 p.m. Main Street between Front and Franklin streets will be blocked off for the duration of the event. The roadway will reopen between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Front Street between Clark and Main streets will also be closed for the duration of the event and will also reopen between 12:30 and 1 p.m. In addition, city officials say no one will be allowed onto Troy Street from Franklin Street for the duration of the morning event. UPDATE 11:13 a.m. • Members of the opposition group with Confederate flags are leaving the area. • We’re checking on the latest information on street closings and will have those details soon. UPDATE 11:08 a.m. • Members of an opposition group are standing just outside the group speaking at Fairpark.
