Ben Wheatley's "Free Fire" To Close LFF

Following the release of "High-Rise" earlier this year, British filmmaker Ben Wheatley is back with the crime action-thriller "Free Fire". Today it has been announced that it's the closing-night film of the 60th BFI London Film Festival on October 16th. The story is set in the late 1970s in Boston. Brie Larson plays a woman who has brokered a meeting in a deserted warehouse between two Irishmen (Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley) and a gang led by Vernon (Sharlto Copley) and Ord (Armie Hammer) who are selling them a stash of guns. Martin Scorsese serves as executive producer on the project which boasts a script by Amy Jump and Wheatley.
