More Americans care for elderly relatives, but who will care for the caregivers?

The United States needs to do more to help the tens of millions of caregivers who sacrifice their finances, health and personal lives to look out for aging loved ones, a growing number of experts say. Nearly 18 million people care for a relative 65 or older who has health or functional impairments, according to a report from the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine.
