Cattivella gave us a sneak peek of its menu, and we are actually, physically trembling. The new Italian restaurant from Chef Elise Wiggins (formerly of Panzano) won’t open for another month or so, but that just means you have time to get your stomach stretched out enough to comfortably accommodate all the amazing eats coming out of her wood-fired grill. Our favorite is the Focaccia di Recco, which is pretty much a buttery, savory pie filled with prosciutto and crescenza cheese, but the Marrow-Braised Beef Shank is a close second. We’ll give you a second to recover from seeing “marrow-braised” and “beef” in the same sentence.
