‘Saturday Night Live’ Ratings Rise With Host James Franco, MLS Cup Also Up

Last night's telecast of Saturday Night Live, hosted by James Franco in his fourth time on the show and featuring musical guest SZA, drew a 4.5 household Live+Same Day rating in the metered markets and a 2.1 in adults 18-49 in the markets with local people meters. That was up from the 4.3 in HH and 1.7 in 18-49 for last week’s telecast hosted by Saoirse Ronan. The 4.5 in households was the best SNL delivery since Nov.
