“Donald Trump has always surrounded himself with lawyers — all types of lawyers. There are the television-friendly talking heads. The polished criminal practitioners. The pit-bull litigators, the corporate suits and the legal advisers with their own legal troubles,” the New York Times reports. “And then there was the singular Michael D.

“Donald Trump pledged to double down on tax cuts if he wins a second term as president, drawing a distinction with President Joe Biden who has called for tax hikes on businesses and the richest Americans,” Bloomberg reports. Said Trump: “Instead of a Biden tax hike, I’ll give you a Trump middle class, upper class, lower class, business class big tax cut.”

“Paul Manafort, the longtime political power broker who served as the 2016 chairman for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, is no longer planning to help manage this summer’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee,” the Washington Post reports. “Manafort’s decision to step aside comes a day after The Washington Post reported that he had re-engaged in international consulting, including lending support to a media venture in China, after being pardoned by Trump for crimes related to money laundering and obstruction of justice.”

Donald Trump predicts that if President Joe Biden is reelected in 2024, the result will be a bloodbath, World War III, "and everything else”—presumably meaning the basic human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, and mass hysteria. This all sounds pretty bad. Except, this isn't the first time Trump made this kind of prediction.
