A 36-year Denver dining institution will close for good in 2021

The first longterm Denver restaurant closure to be announced during the coronavirus shutdown came Thursday afternoon. Racines, a 36-year dining institution, will close for good on Jan. 15, 2021. Owners Lee Goodfriend and David Racine say the closure isn’t related to coronavirus at all — they are under contract to sell the land and building at 650 Sherman St.
