The Pembroke Pines Charter girls flag football program reached the Class 1A state championship for the first time in school history as their impressive playoff run fell short with a 27-6 loss to Robinson at the AdventHealth Training Center in Tampa on Saturday. Pembroke Pines Charter trailed 13-0 at halftime in the championship contest.
