Robert Eggers' upcoming reimagining of Nosferatu, starring Bill Skarsgrd as the titular vampire, is apparently bringing sexy vampires back, just not in the way you might think. Young adult movies and shows like Twilight and The Vampire Diaries have fetishized blood-sucking creatures for millennial audiences. But Eggers' version is putting a nastier spin on audiences' attraction to vampiric creatures, and Skarsgrd promises audiences will be left feeling "gross."

During a recent appearance on the National Treasure Hunt podcast, Turteltaub revealed that the long-awaited third outing in the National Treasure franchise is now being written by a very, very good writer, and that, should all the pieces fall into place as theyre supposed to, the movie will get made.

The third Knives Out mystery continues to round out its cast, as Hollywood icon and Academy Award nominee Glenn Close joins Daniel Craig in the latest whodunnit from Netflix and director Rian Johnson. According to THR, the actress has now officially joined the all-star ensemble cast of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, joining Challengers star Josh OConnor, Civil Wars Cailee Spaeny, and Ripley actor Andrew Scott.

Could another case be on the horizon for Adrian Monk? Tony Shalhoub is not opposed to reprising his Emmy Award-winning role for a sequel to Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie. Released on December 8, 2023, in Peacock, the film followed Monk (who is struggling with his Obsessive Compulsive Disorder due to the pandemic) as he returns to solve one last case involving his stepdaughter Molly.
