But that thankfully won't stop Matt Damon from working with quality directors and worthwhile projects.The trades report Damon is in talks to star in We Bought a Zoo for 20th Century Fox. Cameron Crowe will direct and is currently rewriting the script by Aline Brosh McKenna.Based on Benjamin Mee's memoir, the story centers on a widowed father (Damon) taking his family to the U.K., buys up a shitty old zoo and with the help of his kids and staff work tooth-and-nail to reopen it.Fox has set a December 23, 2011 release date on Zoo.
