HOUSTON — A Continental Airlines flight bound for San Diego had to return to Houston after the pilot reported engine problem. Continental Airlines spokeswoman Julie King tells the Houston Chronicle that Flight 409 departed Bush Intercontinental Airport at 11:30 a.m. Sunday and was still ascending over Austin when the crew experienced the problem and decided to return to Houston. King said the Boeing 737 jet landed about 1 p.m.
