Providence Animal Center Pet of the Week: Buddy

12-year-old male Mixed Breed Say hello to Buddy, the handsome senior boy who has been looking for a home for quite some time now. Buddy is tan, with ears that stand straight up ready to hear all of the wonderful things you have to say about him. He was surrendered to Providence Animal Center in Media, formerly the Delco SPCA, after his owner had passed away.

1-year-old male Domestic Shorthair Meet Titan, the little orange boy with the big heart who is waiting for someone to start his new life with. Titan is all-orange with bright orange eyes to match. Can you guess what his favorite color is? Titan was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and brought to Providence Animal Center in Media, formerly the Delco SPCA, where he is waiting patiently for love.

My name is Janelle. I am an 11 month old, Tabby Calico. That means I have super beautiful colored fur. I am more like a tabby with streaks of red fur throughout! I am a super affectionate girl and love people and other cats. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, FELV/FIV negative and chipped. I am one stunning girl and would make a wonderful compliment to any household.

Gorgeous Molly and handsome Rufus were rescued from outdoors and brought into the same foster home, where they have became extremely loving house kitties. Quite the feline friendship ensued. They could be adopted separately, of course, but together would be so much better. Once Molly feels safe with you, she is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle.

Kohl's donates $100,000 to Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children

Nemours Children's Health System is honored to be the recipient of a two-year, $100,000 grant from Kohl's to help meet the mental health needs of children in the Delaware Valley.With the grant support, Nemours is going to dedicate a full-time staff member to collaborate and connect with local agencies and individual providers, creating a seamless referral process for children who need mental health services.
