David Prowse, who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars Trilogy, has died at the age of 85. Prowse's agent Thomas Bowington confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that he died early morning on Saturday, November 28, following "a short illness." Bowington Management also shared the news on Twitter, saying "It's with great regret and heart-wrenching sadness for us and million of fans around the world, to announce that our client DAVE PROWSE M.B.E.
