A former deputy in Florida created a lot of confusion when he reportedly sent a photo of a cake with the phrase “Sorry I Tased You” written out in frosting to a woman he had tasered while off-duty. The picture went viral, and has even been cited in a lawsuit ― but it turns out it may not even be the handiwork of former Escambia County deputy Michael Wohlers. Stephanie Byron in May filed a civil lawsuit against Wohlers for using excessive force against her, violating her civil rights, committing battery against her and causing hardships such as physical injuries, monetary loss and medical expenses, the Pensacola News Journal reports.
