An East Side man has been indicted in the beating death of a toddler whose body was found stuffed in a backpack in Big Walnut Creek on Dec. 31. Today, a Franklin County grand jury indicted Kurt Flood, 24, on charges of murder, felonious assault, child endangering, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse in the death of 14-month-old Cameron Beckford.
