Cornetto Trilogy filmmaker Edgar Wright is quickly jumping onto a variety of projects after departing Marvel's Ant-Man, with reports stating he's now attached to Grasshopper Jungle for Sony Pictures. According to Deadline, Wright will direct Grasshopper Jungle, based on a young-adult novel that's reportedly like a mix of Attack the Block and Stand By Me. Sony Pictures' Kraven the Hunter has been postponed. The film was set to be released at the end of the summer movie season, on Aug. 30, 2024, but has now been postponed until Dec. 13, 2024. That means it will take the place of Sony's Karate Kid reboot, which has now been pushed to May 30, 2025.
