Via the Palm Beach Post: A school district employee participating in armed "guardian" certification accidentally shot themselves at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office gun range on Monday, June 10, according to the Palm Beach County School District and sheriff's office. The civilian employee, whose name is being withheld in accordance with state law that prohibits identifying safe school officers, is in stable condition following the shooting, according to a school district spokesperson.

Authorities are investigating after vandals targeted the homes of the Brooklyn Museum's Jewish director and some board members in a cowardly act, using red-smeared paint. This act of targeting Jewish people will not help the Palestinians. What a despicable thing to do, and I'm not sure how, in their minds, they felt this was productive.

Steve Bannon was ordered to report to prison on July 1st to begin a 4 month sentence for contempt of court after failing to comply with a lawful subpoena issued by the January 6th Committee. Immediately after being ordered to report to court, he was defiant, saying "Merrick Garland, Lisa Monaco, the entire Justice Department, they're not going to shut up Trump, they're not going to shut up Navarro, they're not going to shut up Bannon, and they're certainly not going to shut up MAGA." Two things died recently. First, Republican dignity when Ted Lieu was done listing all of Trump's associates who are convicted felons--criminals--just like he is.
