Much of poor and black America has suffered for years from an epidemic of police brutality. There is an overwhelming number of stories, victims, and incidents. Yet, not a single person in America right now can really talk numbers. Government data on policing in America is notoriously inadequate. For starters, much of the data is nonexistent, either not tracked or not publicly released.
