Flood Aid In Detroit Area Totals $246 Million

DETROIT (AP) -- Federal assistance for Detroit-area residents who suffered property damage during severe August flooding has totaled $246 million following the application deadline.The Detroit News reports nearly 128,100 people had applied for federal grants as of Monday.
