Global Concepts Charter School Plans $1 Million Expansion

Global Concepts Charter School — the only charter school in Lackawanna — wants to transform a Ridge Road parcel that has been used as a parking lot into a green space dominated by playing fields and other amenities. The $1 million project, which will have a formal groundbreaking on May 23, will see the development of a pair of mini-soccer fields, running and field track, basketball court, playground, pavilion and an outdoor classroom on the nearly three-acre site that neighbors the school.
