Google executive Dan Fredinburg was one those killed in an avalanche on Mount Everest, following the devastating 7.8 earthquake that rocked Nepal early this morning. Fredinburg served as Chief of Privacy for Google X, and headed up product management for the company’s Privacy team. His sister made the news public via Instagram, attributing his death to a “major head injury”.
