It took firefighters more than an hour to free a woman from a Chevrolet Colorado truck after it crashed into a Chevy Silverado truck on the side of Route 23 Friday night, authorities said. About 7 p.m., a man and woman from Marengo were traveling south on Route 23 when it crashed into an unoccupied truck that was parked, McHenry County Sheriff's Deputy Sandra Rogers said. Harvard Fire Protection District firefighters had to cut a hole into the truck to free the woman from the wreckage.
