On the school's playground, her image is captured in a colorful tile mural created by students with the help of art teacher Cheryl Swanson. She is Our Lady of Guadalupe, a popular discussion topic most any day at the school, 2700 S Shartel, but particularly these days as the Sacred Heart parish prepares to celebrate her feast day on Monday. Sacred Heart Principal Adriana Garza said the parish's festivities will begin about noon Sunday and continue into early Monday. The festivities, which include dancing, singing at midnight and a play, are so popular that most of the students at Sacred Heart school likely will be allowed to participate into the late night and early morning activities.Read more on NewsOK.com
