Hilliard parent Bill Warner is all too familiar with the state of testing in schools. He has a son who is dyslexic and another who is gifted. Both hate tests. His wife, a Columbus school teacher, has told him about the battery of assessments she has to administer. Today, he listened to Hilliard schools leaders describe the district’s testing environment and joined more than 200 parents, staff and community members who weighed in on the subject.
