Imf Chief Christine Lagarde Says China’s Economy ‘resilient’ Despite Market Decline

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- China's dramatic pullback in stocks isn't a threat to its economy, at least according to Christine Lagarde, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund. "We believe the Chinese economy is resilient and strong enough to withstand that kind of significant variation in the market,' she said during a press conference on Wednesday.

This marks the first time that cosmetic procedures have been associated with an HIV outbreak, according to a detailed report of the outbreak investigation published today. Ars reported on the cluster last year when state health officials announced they were still identifying cases linked to the spa despite it being shut down in September 2018.
