Holy crap this movie is amazing, I'm surprised it's not getting more Oscar buzz but then it's pretty ****ing messed up, so it's probably too grim for the Oscars anyway. Gyllenhaal is amazing, film is hilariously dark and incredibly intense throughout. #3 film of the year for me (behind Boyhood and The Lego Movie) EDIT: Also Rene Russo gives possibly her best performance in this movie, she was great.
