After all, it was at NYFF that the long-time actress broke out with her turn in last year's "Inherent Vice." This time around, Waterston is starring in yet another anticipated film from a beloved director: Danny Boyle's "Steve Jobs." In the ambitiously scripted look (thanks to Aaron Sorkin's snappy three-act structure) at the late Apple founder's life, Waterston plays Chrisann Brennan, Jobs' jilted college lover and the father of his first child, Lisa.
