DENVER - A hearing on a bill that would have ended "double taxation" on a piece of land in Fountain was interrupted mid-testimony and re-adjourned after all of the proponents had gone home. Rep. Lois Landgraf, R-Fountain, is more than a little miffed with House leadership, all Democrats, about the bill, which took an unusual turn in the final full week of session. "I thought it was incredibly rude and thoughtless to all the people who showed up for the bill," Landgraf said Wednesday.
