An edited transcript of an interview with NBA Hall of Famer and Warriors executive board member Jerry West: The goal is to win a championship, but at the same time, does it become important to keep this win streak alive? At times what makes us vulnerable are the loose passes, poor ball-handling and home-run passes. There are going to be layups and wide-open shots on the other end. [...] when we take care of the basketball, we are really, really, really good. How do you rate him as a player? Do you buy into the emotional balance that he provides? When we play small, we may give up some rebounding but off a miss and a turnover, there is no one that’s going to get back against this team. Is it important to this team to take aim at the 1995-96 Bulls’ 72-win record? If you keep trying to chase records, you’re going to put so much pressure on yourself to play at a level that is completely different than it should be. Q: Since you were a part of that (1971-72 Lakers) team that won 33 games in a row, can the Warriors go out there and get to that number?

    Two of Colorado’s most popular ski resorts are seeking approval from the U. S. Forest Service to build new gondolas out of their base areas, with construction possible during the summer of 2025. Breckenridge wants to build one from the Peak 9 base to an angled mid-station, where a new on-mountain beginner area would be developed, before continuing upward to terminate near the top of the existing A-Chair.
