Hollywood producer Laura Ziskin died Sunday at her home in Los Angeles after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 61. Ziskin, who co-founded the advocacy group, Stand Up to Cancer, produced dozens of films during her decades long career, including “Pretty Woman” and the “Spider-Man” trilogy. She became the first woman to produce the Academy Awards show solo in 2002 and went on to produce the telecast again in 2007. She is survived by her husband, screenwriter Alvin Sargent.
