"limitless" To Get A Tv Sequel

Bradley Cooper and Ryan Kavanaugh are developing a TV series based on Neil Burger's 2011 film "Limitless" for CBS. Cooper starred in the original which followed a failed author who uses an experimental drug to achieve mental powers that he uses to become a financial genius. The series will pick up after the events of the film and shows how he uses his powers to become a force for good in the world. CBS has given a pilot production commitment to the project which has Burger set to direct the pilot. "Elementary" producer Craig Sweeny is penning the adaptation and will executive produce with Burger, Cooper, Todd Phillips, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Ryan Kavanaugh, Tucker Tooley, Tom Forman and Heather Kadin.
