The 2016 election season isn’t quite over yet. On Saturday, Louisiana will hold runoff elections for the U.S. House and Senate. The marquee matchup is the Senate runoff between Republican John Neely Kennedy, the state treasurer, and Democrat Foster Campbell, a member of the Louisiana Public Service Commission. It’s Kennedy’s third run for Senate, and it’s the Democrats’ last chance to narrow the GOP majority in the Senate — if Campbell wins, Republicans will have a 51-to-49 seat advantage — and derail Donald Trump’s agenda as much as they can.
