Man Completes His Nearly 15,000 Mile Walk From Argentina To Alaska

After walking for 18 months, Holly "Cargo" Harrison finally reached the actual end of the road. Harrison, a former Army Ranger, walked from Ushuaia, Argentina, to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, because "no one's ever done it," he told NBC's Harry Smith. "There are few things left in the world that no one's ever done." It certainly wasn't an easy feat — he had a heart attack in Nevada, fended off a bear after entering Alaska, and was on crutches with a torn tendon in his foot when he arrived in Prudhoe Bay earlier this month. While his body was "so relieved and so happy to be done," he was also "a little sad" for it to all be over.
