Christopher Sardelli csardelli@thelancasternews.com A Charlotte man is facing an escape charge after he kicked out the back window of a deputy’s patrol car following his arrest outside an Indian Land business July 14. Donnie Gill, 41, had already been arrested on a shoplifting charge, but is now facing charges of unlawful escape and malicious injury to property following the incident that happened at about 6:30 p.m., according to a Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office incident report.
