Man Shot Several Times In Savannah's Windsor Forrest Neighborhood

A man was taken to a local hospital Thursday evening with potentially life threatening injuries after he was shot multiple times in the Windsor Forest neighborhood.Savannah-Chatham police and Southside Fire/EMS first responders arrived at the scene in the 400 block of Sharondale Road about 6:45 p.m. where they found a white male in his early 20s seriously injured after receiving reports of shots fired in the area, said Julian Miller, police spokesman.The man’s name was not released Tuesday.Police did determine an altercation had occurred in the area and the man was running away when he was shot, Miller said.
