Decriminalization of marijuana in Wichita moved a step closer to a public vote Thursday when advocates turned in petitions with nearly twice as many signatures as they need to put the question on the November ballot.City officials said they may have some questions and concerns about the wording of the measure, but they have no immediate plans to go to court to try to block the initiative.Petition organizers Esau Freeman and Janice Bradley went to City Hall at 4:20 p.m.
