Marvin White, a former Columbia Gas CEO and co-founder of IGS Energy, has died. White, 91, died on Sept. 10 following a long illness. He was one of the pioneers of developing Ohio's competitive market for natural gas. He worked at Columbia Gas, the Columbus-based utility, from 1947 until 1987, rising to become chairman and CEO.
