On Oct. 14, Mathnasium of Cary will open its doors to all who want to see just how the Mathnasium Method works. From 3 to 6 p.m., the center will welcome families interested in learning more about how Mathnasium has cracked the code to teaching children math in a way that really makes sense. There will be food, games and robotics challenges, along with a special demonstration by The Golden Ratio Robotics Team at 3:30 p.m. “We’re excited about this opportunity to introduce ourselves to the Cary community and demonstrate to residents how Mathnasium forges a positive attitude toward math among kids,” Amy Becker, owner and center director, said. “We’ve had enormous success in boosting students’ math skills and their understanding of mathematical concepts.
