Montana State Researchers Among Those Proving Einstein Right

(AP) — A century ago Albert Einstein predicted the existence of gravitational waves rippling through the universe, and on Thursday a team of 1,000 scientists worldwide — including Montana State University astrophysicist Neil Cornish — announced they found proof in the echo of a billion-year-old collision between two massive black holes. Cornish, co-director of MSU's eXtreme Gravity Institute, said he, his graduate student Margaret Millhouse and five MSU Ph.D.
