Daniel Craig On Board For Only Two More James Bond Movies Producer Michael G. Wilson was so impressed with Daniel Craig's James Bond that he wanted Craig to make five more Bond movies after Skyfall. “Daniel’s been a terrific Bond, a superb actor and a terrific man. The fans love him and I don’t think there’s a better actor to play the part … I’d love Daniel to surpass Roger’s record and do eight pictures,” Wilson told the UK publication People back in December. I hope BAD WORDS is as morally rephrensible as it seems, although Jason Bateman's little friend indicates that his spelling-bee attending character may have some kind of "come to Jesus" moment in the final act. BAD WORDS got good buzz coming out of Toronto, though, so it may not end up being that predictable.
The trailer looks very funny, though, and Bateman suggesting to a woman that he stuff her son "back up that blown-out sweat sock of a vagina" makes the film seem mean as hell.
GK Films has found a director for their Untitled Freddie Mercury Biopic in Dexter Fletcher (Wild Bill, Sunshine on Leith). We reported in October that Ben Whishaw was being eyed to star as Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury, and now his deal has been finalized. Sacha Baron Cohen had previously been attached to star, but he dropped out in July after creative differences with the band.
Jason Momoa is in negotiations for an unknown role in the highly-anticipated Batman Vs. Superman. If a deal is made, he will join Henry Cavill (Superman/Clark Kent), Ben Affleck (Batman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman). It is rumored that the actor might be playing the villain Doomsday or Martin Manhunter, although that has not been confirmed.
Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions are moving forward with a sequel to 2012's Jack Reacher, developing the Lee Child novel Never Look Back with Tom Cruise attached to star. There was speculation that Paramount and Skydance may try to work in the sequel before production begins on Mission: Impossible 5, which is set for release on December 25, 2015.
