WASHINGTON — This city is all about history, monuments, statues and legacies. So it was fitting that Nationals leadoff hitter Trea Turner should inscribe his name in the major-league record book Tuesday night. The shortstop hit for the cycle in Washington’s 11-1 romp over the reeling Rockies, who lost for the 14th time in their last 17 games and continued to tumble out of National League wild-card contention. Turner’s cycle was the 10th against the Rockies in their franchise history.
